The authentication system is trivially bypassable (empty string defaults to free tier), the rate limiting is client-side and ineffective, and there is misleading documentation claiming read-only behavior for tools that actually modify Slack (send_message, create_channel, set_channel_topic). Additionally, the code contains obfuscated imports (_meter_urlreq, _meter_urlerr) and network calls that suggest intentional data exfiltration patterns. Supply chain analysis found 5 known vulnerabilities in dependencies (0 critical, 5 high severity). Package verification found 1 issue.
